Choice City Health is a full-service insurance health insurance agency that focuses on helping local people understand their Medicare options and find the most cost-effective plans for their needs. Our office is located in Fort Collins, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Our office has been specializing in Medicare since 2008 and our Principal agent, Dana Griffin, has received multiple carrier awards from United Healthcare and served as part of the AARP Agent Advisory Council from 2020 through 2023.
Our consultative approach allows you the time and peace of mind to know your coverage is a good fit. As our client we provide ongoing service and guidance on your coverage.

Meet the Team
Dana Griffin
Founder, Licensed Agent
Dana got started working in health care back in 2002 and brings over 20 years of experience to the Medicare market. JHe has broad experience working with individuals and families under 65 both on and off exchanges, small group and life insurance. Dana takes a consultative approach to assisting people with making an insurance decision.
Dana is a family man that loves spending time with his wife and daughter and has been involved in extracurricular activities from exploring Colorado and the west to skiing and spending time taking care of his 2 dogs.
His accomplishments include:
- 2014 – 2017 Served on UnitedHealthcare ICA council
- 2020 -2023 – Served on AARP UnitedHealthcare Agent Advisory Council, this is a exclusive group of 12 agents from across the U.S. Agents that sit on a Council to provide insight & service, and through the agent’s Council participation, UnitedHealthcare gains valuable insights to better meet member needs.
- 2023 – Presidents Club with Senior Market Sales – one of the nation’s largest National Marketing Organizations for Medicare
Jon Merrell
Licensed Agent
Jon joined Choice City Health in 2022 and has quickly learned about Medicare and the overall insurance industry. Jon has a natural passion and enthusiasm for providing top level service and guidance on helping clients make the right decision on their coverage. Jon has all of the necessary tools when it comes to Medicare and Part D Rx plans to help you understand your options.
Jon is a Colorado native & Colorado State University graduate. With an applied math major and strong willingness to help people , Jon was able to fit right into working with the team at Choice City Health. During Jon’s off time, he spends time in the mountains skiing or relaxing with his girlfriend and family.
Tiffin Vaughn
